Ruptured is releasing 3 new CD albums between September 6 and September 10, 2016, by three of the most creative musicians on the Lebanese alternative scene. These are the first solo releases of Kid Fourteen and Mme Chandelier, and the third one by Fadi Tabbal. All three will be available in limited editions of 300 copies each.

For the launch of Lebanese electronic artist Munma’s new album THREE VOICES
In concert in Dawawine’s screening room

On Friday 3 June 2016,
1st concert at 7.30pm
2nd concert at 9pm

THREE VOICES is the eagerly anticipated first vinyl release from Jawad Nawfal aka Munma, a pioneer of Lebanon’s electronic/dance scene. The album will be available in a limited edition of 300 hand-numbered LP’s, including digital download codes. This is the second vinyl release from Lebanon’s alternative music label Ruptured, following RadioKVM’s “Issrar” in 2014.

Lebanese musicians Mayssa Jallad and Elie Abdelnour, aka folk duo SAFAR, were the guests of Ruptures for an interview and no less than four live performances of tracks taken from their first release, the “23 Kilograms” EP, as well as newer compositions. They were accompanied by Fadi Tabbal on guitar and various electronic contraptions.

Lebanese up-and-coming folk band POSTCARDS were the guests of Ruptures on Monday 11 November 2013, for an interview and some exclusive live performances. The band released its first EP, “Lakehouse”, during the summer of 2013. Their line-up for this session consisted of Julia Sabra (vocals, ukulele & guitar), Marwan Tohme (guitar & vocals), Rani Bechara (bass & backing vocals) and Pascal Semerdjian (drums & backing vocals). BANANA COGNACS // Ruptured Session // 11 March 2013

Lebanese rock band The Banana Cognacs were the guests of Ziad Nawfal’s weekly radio program Ruptures, for an interview and exclusive live performances. The band released its first, self-titled EP in November 2012. For this session, the line-up consisted of Double A The Preacherman (vocals), Angie Nassar (vocals), Ghassan Khayyat (guitar), Ramzi Bashour (guitar), Johnny Seikaly (bass) and Mustapha Khaled (drums).
