Lebanese-Canadian musician CHARIF MEGARBANÉ, leader of the group HEROES & VILLAINS, was a guest on the DÉCALAGES program on Sunday 28 December on 96.2FM. He presented his first solo album, Concrete Abstracts Vol.1, due for release in early 2009, as well as a previously unreleased track by HEROES & VILLAINS, a fair deal of orchestral jazz, 70s pop, 60s soul and a bit of contemporary underground hip-hop.

On Sunday 14 December, Lebanese singer YOUMNA SABA was the guest on Radio Liban’s ‘Décalages’ programme. She presented her first album, ‘MIN AAFESH EL BEIT’, and announced the launch concert that accompanied the release of the album, on Tuesday 16 December at the Crypt of St-Joseph Church in Beirut.

The Ruptures program on Monday 27 October featured Lebanese artist Youmna Saba as a special guest. She gave an exclusive Radio Liban presentation of extracts from her debut album, “Min 3Afesh El Beit”, due for release in December 2008. Youmna also performed several of her tracks live in the Radio Liban studios, under the watchful ears of sound engineer Fadi Tabbal, who is also the producer and co-musician on the album. It was an emotional moment, and a chance to discover a spectacular voice and talent with a bright future ahead of it…

The Ruptures program on 15 September welcomed Jawad Nawfal (from the group MUNMA), for a presentation of his new compositions in duet with musician Nabil Saliba (TRASH INC.).
Jawad presented a selection of his favourite tracks of the moment, as well as new compositions from his duo with Trash Inc. He also discussed his forthcoming concert at Lebanese club B018, planned for Friday 19 September..

The Ruptures ‘Zoom Sur’ program on Monday 1 September featured a special guest appearance by Lebanese artist Nadine Khouri, who was in Lebanon for a music festival that was cancelled at the last minute.
Nadine performed several of her new songs live in the Radio Liban studios, with sound engineer Fadi Tabbal at the controls, and Ziad Nawfal behind the microphone… The young artist also provided the musical selection for the programme, with a range of her current favourites.
